The most eagerly anticipated Hariyali Teej celebrations were organized with great enthusiasm by Aparajita Mahila Samaj, Meja on 9th September, 2023. The program began with the arrival of the Senior Members and auspicious Lighting of the Lamp and Shri Ganpati Pujan. This was followed by floral offerings to Shri Mataji.

The extravaganza kickstarted with welcome speech by the General Secretary, Smt. Ranjana Singh. Thereafter, spectacular individual dance performances and melodious group songs lit-up the stage. The most awaited Teej Queen contest was also held where the participants showcased their talent, style and panache. The coveted title of Teej Queen was won by Mrs. Sapna Singh after a keenly contested competition.

Addressing the members on this occasion, President, AMS, Smt. Usha Kumar, highlighted the importance of the Teej Festival and threw light on its spiritual significance and role in promoting family values. She also appreciated the members for their get-up and conveyed her best wishes to the contestants.
